Housed within McLaren Vale’s first church, ‘The Pioneer Chapel’ built in 1843-44, Harvest Studio are custodians of their whole State Heritage site, including the former Congregational Cemetery from 1841, now known as The Botanical Cemetery, McLaren Vale.
Established in January 2022, ‘The Culture Garden’ community garden and placemaking project aims to restore & re-landscape the (active) cemetery grounds around our studio, in a way that references how McLaren Vale was settled over time.
